Ava is a character in Family Reunion. She is friends with Jade but in Remember When Our Boys Became Men? Jade had a crush on Kurt so did Ava they ended up having beef we assume due to her not appearing in part 2.
sorry, hi. I don't want things to be mixed up, but Ava was a re-occurring character in Family Reunion. Jade had a minor crush on Kurt, and quickly grew romantically interested in him after realising Drew was a jerk. However, she didn't mention Kurt's name until he showed up while Jade, Ava and Renee were hanging out at Pretty Boy's Cafè. So, Jade and Ava awkwardly stood beside him for a photo, while Renee was presumably posting the story on her socials, as it was earlier mentioned that her nickname was Miss "I've got the tea." In the first episode of season 2, Jade specifically said to Renee that both she and Ava friend-zoned Kurt in order to salvage their friendship. We can assume that the actual reason Ava wasn't shown after the episode "Remember when our boys became men?" Was because the actress Lexi Underwood was experiencing scheduling conflicts, wanted to pursue more roles, or simply outgrew Family Reunion.
